• The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Al-Khalidi, congratulates the leadership on the occasion of the success of Hajj Hackathon

    The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, congratulated the wise leadership on the occasion of the success of Hajj Hackathon.

    He stressed that this technical demonstration was hosted by the city of Jeddah in the presence of 2950 male and female participants. It was a technical event, the most prominent of the inventions of Saudi programmers and technicians.

     

    Al-Khalidi also extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, on the occasion of the Kingdom's registration in the Guinness Book of World Records with the Encyclopedia recorded 2950 male and female participants, which is breaking the previous record of 2577 participants registered in India since 2012.

    He stressed the unlimited support that the sons of this benevolent country find from wise leadership.

    He pointed out that the Saudis proved that they are able to give and accomplish achievements after the application of "Turjuman" of the Kingdom that took the first place in the Hackathon.

     

    Al-Khaldi also congratulates His Excellency the Chancellor of the Royal Court, Mr. Saud bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, for his great efforts in organizing the event.

    Al-Khalidi said that the Kingdom, through its Vision 2030, strongly affirms the importance of innovation and support for this trend in order to be a gateway to technology in the region. This event has revealed to us national talents that will be an important arm to implement this ambitious vision.

     

    For his part, a member of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber and Chairman of the Communications and Information Technology Committee, Nasser bin Rashid Al-Bajash, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on this occasion.

    He stressed the support of the great leadership of the people of the homeland and the ambitions and hopes that were held to achieve this great achievement.

    He pointed out that the insistence of Saudi youth on the importance of technology and the need for digital transformation was a clear target for all and a strong reason to win the award and record a new record.

     

    Al-Bajash thanked the Chairman of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and the Drones and His Excellency the Advisor at the Royal Court, Mr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Qahtani, for his efforts in attracting the organized team and leading the event to success.

    Al-Bajash said that the Kingdom is blessed with a group of programmers and technicians who have registered great successes in a place in the world to host such a demonstration. A good example is the participation of Abdulaziz Al Hammadi, a Google expert in product strategy and a member of the Communications and Information Technology Committee at Asharqia Chamber.

    Al-Bajash pointed out that the Kingdom does not spare any effort to provide the various services needed by the pilgrims and benefit from all the ideas that make it easier for the guests of the Lord at the highest levels and standards.

    Perhaps this demonstration and the monitoring of the budgets and energies highlighted the emphasis of this interest that to achieve the goals of the vision of the Kingdom 2030.

    Al-Bajash praised the level of the participants included in Hajj Hackathon. He stressed the keenness of participants to submit their innovative ideas and projects to serve pilgrims.

    He pointed out that the size of the positive competition in this demonstration was at the highest levels, as "we have seen all groups interact with each other and combine them in that one goal."​
